Why Paid Membership?

The paid membership package will give you valuable insight into what the Latinx Business Student Association at Cal is and what it has to offer. As an LBSA paid member, you get access to exclusive resources and opportunities. We are here to provide you with the information, contacts, and knowledge you will need to gain the professional skills necessary for internships or employment before and after graduation.

To become a paid member, there is a one-time membership fee of $40. This is a lifetime membership that affords you opportunities even as an alumni. If you are facing financial hardship but would still like to become a paid member, please get in touch with our Executive Administrator at ucblbsa.executive@gmail.com to learn about the different payment plans and member sponsorship we offer. Our goal is to ensure that anyone who wants to become a paid member has the resources and flexibility to do so!

  • Mentorship Programs

    LBSA offers paid members 3 different mentorship roles: Alumni, Haas, and Big/Little mentorships. Make the most of these opportunities to connect with LBSAers!

  • Academic Resources

    Being a paid member will also grant you access to our Test Bank and Academic Advising appointments, which are managed and hosted by our Academic Affairs Committee!

  • Haas Application Guidance

    One of our three mentorship programs includes the Haas Bootcamp. This rigorous semester-long program pairs LBSA Haasies with those getting ready to apply.

  • Exclusive Member Events

    As a paid member, you get access to socials that are reserved for committee (paid) members. You also get opportunities to attend member retreats every fall!

  • Scholarship Eligibility

    Get access to many different scholarships that we award at the end of each school year. This includes sponsor scholarships, alumni scholarships, and many others!

  • Resume Book

    Get your resume updated by the VP of PD and included in our resume book! It’s shared with all of our corporate sponsors to connect members with external opportunities.

  • Sponsors & Recruiters

    Paid members get to attend sponsored workshops where they get to meet recruiters and execs from top firms. LBSAers get access to many exclusive resources!

Signing up to be an LBSA member gets your foot in the door to access LBSA’s limitless resources. Come out to a few events, get added to our member newsletter, and network with some of our members to see if paid membership might be the right choice for you!

If you’re ready to become a paid lifetime member, complete the sign-up form and attach your proof of payment! The Executive Administrator will reach out to you shortly to confirm your membership and send you our Membership Package, which contains important info regarding access to resources.
