As Latinos, many of us are breaking new ground for our families, therefore, don’t be afraid to explore options that might not align with your original plan.

Apply consistently, even if you don’t meet every single requirement. Many companies value work ethic, resilience, and potential, qualities that are often deeply rooted in our backgrounds. Focus on your transferable skills, your story, and the challenges you’ve overcome.

And never underestimate the power of community. Connect with other Latinos in your field, ask for advice, and surround yourself with people who believe in you. Sometimes one conversation or one recommendation can open a door you didn’t even know was there.
